Cost Breakdown & Pricing

Cost Breakdown explains a month's bill, service by service. Pricing shows the rates that apply to your account. Together they answer "what did we use, and what does it cost?", whether the usage comes from display screens in a hotel lobby, cameras in a retail store or door controllers on a college campus.

Quick reference

Where to find it: Settings (cog icon) → Billing & Cost Management → Cost Breakdown or Pricing

Who can access: People with the Billing & Cost Management module at the facility. See Who can see it.

Purpose: Understand a month's usage, and check the rates that apply to your account

Cost Breakdown

The Cost Breakdown tab shows one month's usage, grouped by service. A prepaid account shows the badge "Prepaid billing" in the header.

  • Pick a month to see its usage. The current month is an estimate until it's billed; the monthly statement is final.
  • Expand a service group to see the services in it.
  • What changed compares the month with last month, so you can see which services grew or shrank.
  • Prepaid balance activity, for prepaid accounts, shows the usage deducted from the balance during the month. View usage deductions on the Payment Settings tab opens it.
  • Download the usage CSV for the month, for your own reporting or to share with your finance team.
